“THE ART OF GEORGE RODRIGUE: A RETROSPECTIVE” OPENS APRIL 9TH IN LONGVIEW, TX
The Longview Museum presents “The Art of George Rodrigue: A Retrospective,” a collection of original paintings by George Rodrigue spanning more than 40 years; including early landscapes, Cajuns, Hurricanes and Blue Dog paintings. More than fifty original artworks on loan from private collectors, public collections, and the Rodrigue Archives, span Rodrigue’s entire oeuvre, including Landscapes, Cajuns, and Blue Dogs, as well as selections from Hurricanes, a series of abstract works.

The youngest son of artist George Rodrigue, Jacques is also the Executive Director of the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts, a non-profit organization benefitting the arts in education.
