Rodrigue’s WOMENClosing September 17
Rodrigue Studio
730 Royal Street

Over his forty-five year career, George Rodrigue painted hundreds of images of women. The result is a beautiful weaving of original paintings spanning Cajuns, Blue Dogs, and Bodies, as well as drawings, photography and even jewelry. This six-month exhibition features rarely seen artworks from numerous private collections, and includes the legends Jolie Blonde, Evangeline, and Evergreen Lake, as well as the special women in Rodrigue’s life—- his mother, Marie Courrege Rodrigue, and his wife, Wendy Wolfe Rodrigue.
