The 2013 Louisiana Book Festival is Nov. 2, in downtown Baton Rouge at the State Library of Louisiana, the State Capitol, the Capitol Park Museum and nearby locations.

A Rodrigue exhibition at the State Library of Louisiana (on the festival grounds) coincides with this festival, featuring related artwork and photographs, along with excerpts from The Other Side of the Painting.

The 15 original winning pieces from the 2013 Art Contest will be on display in the foyer of the Seminar Center.
Peter Scalfani of Ruffino’s in Baton Rouge will be cooking his recipe from “The Pot & The Palette Cookbook.” Jacques Rodrigue will emcee the cooking demo along with Alice Glenn from the Louisiana Restaurant Association. The event is in the Cooking Demo tent.
