Rodrigue Studio is proud to announce that we are expanding our team. The Exhibition Coordinator reports directly to Rodrigue Studio owners and works closely with gallery and foundation staff to develop traveling George Rodrigue retrospective exhibits. Rodrigue Studio anticipates opening two exhibits per year in different cities across the country for the next five years. Each exhibit will be open approximately three months. Exhibits will include approximately 100 paintings, silkscreen prints and personal memorabilia spanning George Rodrigue’s entire career.
The Exhibition Coordinator will be a multi-tasker and self-starter who can work independently on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and people skills, and be capable of building relationships with programming partners and community members.
This position requires extended periods of travel (up to 3 months at a time) for each exhibition. Target cities include Houston, Little Rock, Memphis, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, Raleigh, Los Angeles and New York. Ideally candidates should have experience in art museums or art galleries, sales, event planning, management, marketing, development and arts education.
