This one-square mile quaint village includes numerous cottages, restaurants, shops and art galleries, all descending westward towards the stunning beach and the Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>Although the California coast captured Rodrigue\u2019s attention during his art school days at The Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, it is primarily the Gulf Coast beaches that dominate his artwork. As a child in the 1950s Rodrigue vacationed with his family along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and as an adult he frequented the Florida Panhandle with his wife Wendy.
