NEW ORLEANS – On January 5, 2015 the Estate of George Rodrigue will release “Mardi Gras 2015”. The silkscreen was designed by George Rodrigue before his death and has been printed posthumously in a limited numbered edition of 450. “Mardi Gras 2015” is the continuation of a series of annual Mardi Gras works started in 1991. “We were so overwhelmed by the success of last year’s Mardi Gras 2014<\/a>\u00a0silkscreen print which sold out in just five days.” Says Jacques Rodrigue, son of George Rodrigue. \u00a0“My family and I are happy that we can continue to release these prints that Dad designed and intended to be enjoyed by his fans and collectors.”<\/p>\n

Mardi Gras 2015 is the second print released from this set of four paintings pictured right. Spring Adds Color to My Life<\/a> was the first and the Estate plans to release prints of the other paintings this year.<\/p>\n
