For years George Rodrigue worked on a design for a blue dog sculpture. Creating a three dimensional sculpture of an image that had, originally, only existed in two dimensions proved challenging. Rodrigue wanted to ensure that the dog maintained its signature shape. After years of experimenting, he eventually landed on a three sided sculpture. Each side would show the front of the dog with no backside.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
